🚦 Narva Highway is getting smarter too! 💡

TRAFFEST and the Estonian Transport Administration are implementing a dynamic traffic management system on the Väo–Haljala section of the Tallinn–Narva highway. The Tallinn–Narva road is the last major 2+2 road leading out of Tallinn that does not yet have electronic traffic signs. Soon, this section will also benefit from smarter traffic management. 🚗💡

So, what will actually change for road users? Simply put, traffic management will better reflect what is actually happening on the road at any given time. Under good road and weather conditions, the speed limit can be raised to 110 km/h. In poorer conditions or in the event of traffic disruptions, the speed limit can be adjusted and necessary warnings and information can be displayed to road users. 🌧️❄️⚠️

In a couple of years, road users travelling towards Rakvere and Ida-Viru County will also be able to enjoy smarter and smoother traffic management. 🤗
