🚗 What does it feel like to ride in a Self-driving car?
That’s exactly what Viljar Nurme, CEO of TRAFFEST, and representatives from the Tartu City Government– Rein Haak (Head of the City Management Department) and Karoliis Paluots (Chief Specialist of Permanent Traffic Management, Road Service) – recently experienced during a test ride organized by the University of Tartu’s Autonomous Vehicles Lab at the Institute of Computer Science.
🚘 Self-driving vehicles, are becoming a familiar sight in Tartu. In the latest test phase, the car’s route expanded to include the bus station, railway station and Lõunakeskus shopping centre, navigating complex city intersections with ease.
🚦 TRAFFEST is proud to contribute to this progress.
In cooperation with the University of Tartu, we’ve made part of Tartu’s traffic lights machine-readable – now self-driving vehicles can move by taking into account real-time traffic light information, enabling even smoother and safer travel.
💡 The future of mobility requires smart infrastructure – TRAFFEST helps make it a reality.
