This summer, TRAFFEST team installed Estonia’s first 🌟 Eco-Counter Citix AI Evo smart traffic counting system with Eco-Display screen in Pärnu.
The new device is located on Supeluse Street, in the heart of the summer promenade, helping the city understand the actual usage of the street and the interaction of traffic flows.
Eco-Counter’s latest all-in-one AI solution can detect and classify up to 8 types of traffic – pedestrians, cyclists, scooters, motorcycles, cars, vans, trucks and buses.
The system measures both the direction and speed of traffic and can identify conflicting trajectories (for example, where pedestrians and scooters cross paths), making it well-suited for complex urban environments.
The display shows, in real-time, how many people have used the street today and throughout the season.
🍂 Even as autumn arrives in Estonia’s summer capital, smart traffic continues its work– tracking steps and rides to provide valuable data for future city planning.
If you are in Pärnu, walk along Supeluse Street yourself – and see how the statistics grow with your own steps and rides🚶🚴♂️
👏 We thank the City of Pärnu for their trust and collaboration. We are pleased to bring innovation to urban spaces that move with the people.
