Tallinn roundabout’s T11 Kanama-Valingu ITS has been installed

The installation and connection of variable message signs (VMS) and other road equipment on the Kanama-Valingu section of Tallinn roundabout T11 km 30,1-34,5 has been completed by TRAFFEST on behalf of AS TREV-2 Grupp. This project saw the installation of 2 traffic cameras, 2 traffic counters and 1 road weather station on the route.

Once the power supplies are fitted to the equipment, the final calibrations can be done with the equipment then ready to be connected to the Estonian Transport Administration’s control centre. Soon road users will be able drive on the first section of the Tallinn roundabout, Kanama-Valingu, under the guidance of traffic signs with variable information.
