The SMART E263 ITS project has been completed

The project SMART E263 ITS has been completed and all traffic signs with changing data have been connected to the central system of the Transport Administration. On 19 September 2022, a successful launch of Tallinn-Kose route took place.

The road users can now use the guidance of traffic signs with changing data on Tallinn-Tartu-Võru-Luhamaa road, starting from Tallinn up to Võru.

The dynamic traffic management created with the project enables to set different speed limits according to weather and traffic conditions, therefore making the overall traffic safer, smoother and more economical.
